Customer Service Representative [ Hybrid Role]

$19.00/hr. | Nears Greens Road

Monday – Friday 10:30 am to 7:00 pm

Long-Term Contract 10 months +

Our client is excited to expand their call center by adding an additional Customer Service Representative to assist their busy department. Join a small group of representatives who assist callers in providing product information for flame-resistant apparel. They who strive for excellence in every interaction in a professional, friendly, accurate, and timely manner. They are product and service knowledge experts and support the organization's growth daily. You will represent the company by offering top-notch support. Are you organized and efficient with excellent time management skills, striving to exceed customer expectations 100% of the time We are not looking for script readers. We are looking for representatives who think outside the box and can add a warm, professional, personal touch to connect with the caller.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
  • Enter phone orders quickly and accurately
  • Must be able to think outside the box to develop the art of offering solutions, not reading a script
  • Ensure that the employee’s DLD, shipping address, part numbers, logos and order type are coded correctly
  • Check customer allowance balances and verify the information is correct.
  • Troubleshoot allowance problems and escalate caller to the Customer Service Manager
  • Handle and process flame-resistant apparel for catalog requests
  • Process urgent, rush and same-day order requests
  • Give ETA on order items, backorder information and track details
  • Provide order information via emails
  • Report returns and handle declined credit cards
  • Assist customers in selecting appropriate merchandise
  • Transfer unanswered questions to the appropriate department
  • Work with the Customer Service Manager to resolve any issue
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual is a huge plus
  • One (1) or more years of customer service, retail or answering high-volume calls
  • Must be customer-centric
  • Able to work with team members well and effectively communicate
  • Able to smile during challenging phone conversations
  • Must be passionate and excited to offer solutions
  • Must be detail-oriented, and able to give accurate and detailed information
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Able to enter data into the system while assisting the caller on the line
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a large volume of phone calls (45-55) daily simultaneously
  • Effectively and professionally handle upset customers and stressful situations professionally
  • Must have a passion for learning and growing within the organization
  • Product knowledge is preferred, but not required;
  • Works well with team members and is personable
