Overview & Responsibilities
The Coordinator of International Distribution supplies strategic and analytical reporting for historical, current, and upcoming theatrical releases across the 70+ countries in Paramount Pictures International.

Collaborates with the team in the creation and distribution of comprehensive reports + analyses for all PPI films from greenlight through post-release. Inclusive of Filmmaker presentations, box office comparisons, and release date reviews.
Is responsible for the collation and delivery of pre-release strategy reports to Senior Management, such as first reactions to films, sneak preview plans, and censorship information.
Prepares an international weekend box office report on alternating Sundays, summarizing performance highlights for the department President and Studio Chairman.
Creates and maintains competitive analysis files for major theatrical releases, detailing opening weekend and lifetime box office forecasts.
Identifies international films of interest and works with each country to capture title information.
Facilitates the sharing of box office, release dates, and other performance-related insights to other departments (Analytics, Marketing, Research, etc.) via routine reports and special requests. Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience in the film industry
Experience in Theatrical Film Distribution
Strong command of Excel including functions; VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, IF Statements, and Conditional Formatting
Demonstrated ability to craft compelling stories and data visualizations with PowerPoint Additional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, prefered
Takes initiative to improve processes and problem solve
Ability to think critically and quickly analyze and interpret quantitative data for upper management
Detail oriented, effective time management, and ability to prioritize work assignments
Keen interest in the film industry and movie performance is a plus!
Knowledge of Salesforce and box office reporting companies (ComScore, Numero, etc.)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 - 60,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
