Job Title: Mural Assistant - Urgent Hire

Duration: May 22 - May 29

Pay: $15/hour

Job Description: Murals by Baylee is seeking a temporary mural assistant to help with a mural job from May 22 to May 29. The assistant will work closely with the main artist to complete the project, including tasks such as applying tape, painting sections of wall, and other duties as needed and directed by the main artist.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in mural painting is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and willingness to take direction from the main artist
• Must be comfortable working on feet for long periods of time
• Must be comfortable working in an often loud and active construction site
• Must be comfortable working in a tight space on a scissor lift that will regularly be at 10-20 feet in height off the ground.
• Must be available to work from Monday to Saturday, May 22 to May 29
• Must have reliable transportation
• Flexible hours are available, but a minimum of 30 hours per week is required
• Must be able to reliably and honestly track their own hours
• Applicants should include a portfolio or Instagram art page if available

Pay and Benefits: The pay for this position is $15 per hour. This is a temporary position and does not include benefits.
