What’s a typical day as a HR Assistant I ? You’ll be:
Summary: Maintain the human resource records of an organization’s employees. Responsible for maintaining personnel documents, auditing personnel files, logging file contents per retention and compliance guidance requirements.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED required o Entry level 2 years customer service-related experience required. Responsibility: Demonstrates independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor. Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, data entry experience. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel (Required)

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Process, verify and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations and classifications. Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earning and supervisory reports on performance. Experience handling protected, and confidential employee personnel information preferred.
