Reports to: Quality Manager
Shift: Second Shift; Monday – Friday, 4pm – 1am

JOB SUMMARY
Supports the Quality Control Program through monitoring of Anodized parts as well as analysis of production operations and processes. Provides leadership and coaching for the Anodizing Production Team as applies to the Quality Management System.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Monitor and document the aesthetic quality (color, visual defects) of anodized parts.
  • Monitor the quantity of parts produced compared to production schedule.
  • Accurately complete transactions of production totals in Syteline.
  • Provide timely and complete communication to Line Operators, Crew Leader, Process Crew Leader and all other impacted operations and functional teams regarding quality issues and quantity shortages.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and instruction to all Anodize line personnel including rackers, take-off and box attendants.
  • Ensure proper packaging of each part per job card, including accurate number of parts per box, boxes per skid and proper packaging materials.
  • Broad understanding of Customer quality expectations
  • Ensure all required customer order quantities are met
  • Print all necessary production reports and job cards using SyteLine ERP system.
  • Complete dimensional and visual data entry activities as needed.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Perform all other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to differentiate between colors and shades of color
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are required
  • Ability to lead, coach and instruct personnel in all Anodizing production areas.
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality control concepts and processes within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated history of excellent attendance and reliability
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice
  • Ability to successfully complete all required training
