Job Description

We are currently seeking Quality Inspection workers to join our team.

Our company, a manufacturer of zinc die castings, is looking for a skilled Quality Control Coordinator in Norridge, IL. Job Requirements

  • Basic math and reading/writing skills
  • Knowledge of measuring/inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
  • The ability to lift up to 50lbs.

The Quality Control Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet our quality standards. Duties include:

  • Inspecting materials to identify non-conforming products
  • Completing First-Piece Inspections
  • Preparing quality documents, including Control Charts, Inspection Reports, and SPC charts
  • Entering inspection data into the database and completing necessary reports and logs
  • Providing quality instructions to machine operators
  • Ensuring that measuring equipment is clean, secure, calibrated, and properly stored
  • Approving in-process production and communicating required adjustments to the Production Supervisor
  • Reporting quality concerns to the Quality Manager or Sr. Quality Technician/Supervisor
  • Accepting or rejecting production material
  • Stopping production when non-conformity has been detected
