Job Description

We are currently seeking a telemarketer to join the GEICO Local Office in Vero Beach, FL. As a telemarketer, you will part of our inside sales team and assist in generating interest of current sources via internet and local B2B sources.

You will be tasked with qualifying business and setting appointments. You will document new communications, actions and qualifying information into our lead database, improving the efficiency and efficacy of future appointment setting pursuits.

We pay a competitive compensation with a commission structure with no cap. This position will report to our Sales Manager. Pay will include hourly, bonuses and also comes with the opportunity to grow into a Sales Agent should you excel in this position.

Salary Range: $30000.00 - $50000.00 per year

Base pay: $14 per hour plus bonus

Responsibilities:

• Meet established goals for setting qualified appointments
• Expected to meet goal regardless of number of dials per day, but typically makes 150 or more quality dials per day
• Track and record all activity in lead development and appointment pursuit

Qualifications:

• Bilingual is a plus.
• High School or equivalent preferred.
• Experience and interest working in the insurance field would be great.
• Energetic self-starter who is proactive, results driven and committed to creating new business.
• Comfortable and effective when speaking to prospects.
• Adept at Cold Calling, and Prospecting.
• Ability to Build Client Relationships Over the Phone.
• 2 years prior experience preferred.
