About us

Our goal is to provide engaging videos to clients working in the educational space.

We're an Austin video production company in need of a freelance illustrator to create lesson-relevant imagery for a curriculum of social-emotional learning videos. The images you'll create will be used by an animator to enhance the storytelling of each video lesson. We don't have a set number of hours per week, this job is on an as-needed basis. This is a freelance position.

We're hoping to match our current style as closely as possible. Our current illustrator is leaving to pursue different kinds of projects, but will be available during the transition to do any necessary training and help troubleshoot. Our current illustrator's workflow is in Illustrator, but if you are more comfortable in Photoshop, we can accommodate. This would be a great position for a newly graduated illustrator or freelance designer with illustration experience.

Process:

- Videos are sent to illustrator with accompanying notes on concepts/desired drawings.

- Illustration files are expected in a 4 day turn around (unless you're booked out or have communicated early about needing a longer turn around time).

- Minor edits are expected in a 2 day turn around (unless you're booked out or have communicated early about needing a longer turn around time).

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $80.00 per hour
