Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at our facility in Louisville, KY.

Your Role:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for equipment and Software Troubleshooting and Repair as well as accomplishing general preventive maintenance, general repair and calibration of precision lab instruments and QAS quality information system. You will have the opportunity to:

• Coordinate Quality efforts around continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct necessary training (i.e., test procedures and run rules) in support of plant quality programs
• Participate on various teams to resolve quality issues and responding to quality issues in production as required
• Assist Production department in the recall and inspection of returned goods and determine their disposition

Ultimately, you will provide technical and administrative techniques needed to evaluate, make recommendations and initiate action on quality opportunities in the plant therefore you will have a direct impact on the company!

We need you to have:

• BS degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials
• 5+ years technical troubleshooting experience in a quality and/or manufacturing role
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Icing on the cake:

• ASQ Certified Quality Technician
• Experience in Metallurgy
• Statistical knowledge
